Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Regional Controller to lead the accounting functions across multiple operating companies in the Rocky Mountain region. This role will ensure compliance with corporate policies and accounting standards, while delivering financial insights and partnering with local leadership to drive informed decisions. The ideal candidate is a proactive leader who builds strong teams, fosters collaboration, and brings operational and financial expertise to a dynamic, multi-entity environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and lead all back-office staff including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Credit & Collections, Inventory Management, and General Ledger.
• Assist in the preparation and review of monthly, quarterly and year-end financial statements, perform variance analysis and provide insights to operational and corporate leadership
• Serve as a trusted financial partner to operations leadership, providing insights and support for strategic decision-making.
• Assist in development and improvement in internal policies & procedures to ensure compliance and the highest integrity of the Company’s results.
• Provide training and development to back-office staff to maintain a high level of employee commitment and competence for sustained and self-reliant performance and achievement of the business platform and the company goals.
• Collaborate with the finance team and operational leaders in the annual planning process.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• 10+ years of progressive accounting leadership, preferably in complex, multi-entity environments
• Strong understanding of accounting theory/GAAP and ability to perform research as necessary
• Proven experience with enterprise-level ERP systems and financial consolidation tools
• Exceptional analytical, leadership, and communication skills
• Willingness to travel within the region (50%)

Location: This position is primarily on-site at one of the region’s main operating company locations.

• Regular in-person attendance is required Monday through Friday

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
• Ability to lift to 15 pounds occasionally
• Must be able to move between departments within the company facility
