Overview

Position Summary:
As part of the Total Rewards Center of Excellence (COE), the Senior Compensation Analyst will be a part of a team dedicated to ensuring our programs motivate and reward our employees for their contributions, putting Kodiak in a position to win. This role will report directly to the Total Rewards Manager and partner closely with other Human Resources (HR) team members on compensation and HR data needs in the organization.

 

This role will require an exceptional ability to turn data into actionable insights as well as maintain organization, poise and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment. Prior experience managing high visibility projects is preferred.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a centralized resource for compensation information, reporting, planning, analysis, and advice in support of the HR team.
  • Support the day-to-day compensation needs of the business.
  • Participate in and lead projects to develop, implement, and monitor compensation programs including pay-for-performance, pay equity, salary structure creation and modeling, complex costing scenarios, incentive plans, etc.
  • Incorporate multiple survey sources to develop competitive benchmarking analysis and independently match and evaluate jobs based on market data.
  • Work with HR Business Partners to review job content and prepare job descriptions reflecting job responsibilities, activities, duties, and requirements, serving as the global expert that ensures alignment of jobs across the organization.
  • Review proposed salary adjustments for alignment with the company’s established compensation guidelines, policies, and practices. Make recommendations on how to resolve business situations that are beyond guidelines.
  • Recommend corrective or alternative actions to resolve compensation-related issues.
  • Responsible for annual salary survey submissions to third -party compensation benchmarking survey providers.
  • Lead the annual merit / salary planning process, data manipulation and audit, coordination with payroll, and development and distribution of individual employee communication. Prepare roll -up summary reporting for these programs.
  • Participate in and lead various global HR compensation related projects, such as job title alignment and salary grade development.
  • Conduct periodic audits to ensure data and integrity.
  • Develop analysis in support of pay programs including analysis of equal pay, FLSA practices, incentive compensation and other bonus plans, and other HR KPI metrics.
  • Partner with Finance to develop quarterly incentive accruals and other estimates.
  • Assist with ad-hoc requests and prepare analysis through Excel.
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships across the company especially within HR and with the HR partners, talent acquisition (recruiting) and all levels of leadership.

Qualifications:
 

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of progressive experience as a compensation analyst.
  • Ability to analyze large data sets, draw conclusions, and provide actionable guidance in a consultative manner.
  • Experience in quantitative and qualitative job evaluation methodology.
  • Experience in a multi-divisional organization is preferred.
  • Comfortable operating in environments with limited process standardization
  • Experience with a compensation survey management tool to analyze data, track trends, and develop insights for structure updates
  • Exceptional vendor management, project management, and communication skills.
  • High proficiency with HRIS and benefits administration systems and data-driven decision-making.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Consistently demonstrates a high-level of professionalism, discretion, and customer focus.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities with a high level of confidentiality and professionalism .

Location: This position is primarily on-site at our headquarters located at: 9780 Pyramid Court, Englewood, CO 80112

  • Regular in-person attendance is required Monday through Thursday
  • Friday is an optional remote workday

 

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  • Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times
  • Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization’s facilities

Min Salary

USD $80,000.00/Yr.

Max Salary

USD $120,000.00/Yr.
