Overview

The Cyber Security Analyst will focus on security related tasks and issues across all company systems and information assets.  Protecting our companies against unauthorized access, modifications, or destruction of company data and business services.  This role will work closely with Kodiak IT Services staff along with our companies to triage, provide security awareness, implement policies and/or security procedures and track compliance throughout the organization.  In addition, support projects or security matters in varying complexity with subject matter experts.  To monitor and administer security related systems, such as Rapid7, Office365, Azure, Knowbe4, Active Directory, Multi-Factor Authentication and related Kodiak managed cloud and on-premises security related services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer and maintain cyber security practice, policy, and solutions – including, but not limited to designing, configuring, implementing, and supporting equipment within a Microsoft & Linux Operating System environment, Microsoft 365/Azure tenant(s), Microsoft domain(s), and Cisco Meraki WAN(s) & LAN(s), and Cloud Systems. 
  • Implement security best practice system security configurations with industry standards and company policy. 
  • Provide automation of regular tasks where applicable to help streamline and scale operations. 
  • Provide Security Awareness through Kodiak and Industry solutions. 
  • Act as an SME for technology projects in accordance with Kodiak Standards, project management processes and quality assurance guidelines. 
  • Interface with Technical Teams & Kodiak company employees – providing cyber security related analysis and guidance to protect company data and prevent breaches. 
  • Recommend, configure, administer, and support cyber security across multiple hardware and software platforms. 
  • Excellent organizational and teamwork skills. 
  • Ability to develop productive working relationships with resources and dependent teams at all levels of the company. 
  • May travel nationwide for subsidiary project and support work. 
  • Provide positive and friendly customer service.
  • As our company develops, other duties will be recognized necessary and assigned to service our headquarters and subsidiary customers. 
  • Other duties as assigned. 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Cyber Security or equivalent, preferred. 
  • Technology certificates preferred – cloud infrastructure (Microsoft & Meraki), ITIL, and/or cybersecurity related
  • One (1) years’ experience within a managed service company or company IT department of size. 
  • Technical, analytical, interpersonal, and organizational skills  
  • Excellent organizational skills 
  • Ability to develop productive working relationships with resources and dependent teams at all levels of the company 
  • Understanding of project management & procurement processes 
  • Demonstrated willingness to go above and beyond to chase down loose ends and deliver on time 
  • Managed multiple, concurrent projects involving cross functional groups with well executed coordination 
  • Ability to develop productive working relationships with resources and dependent teams at all levels of the company 
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and energetic environment and exhibit appropriate levels of urgency.

Location: This position is primarily on-site at our headquarters located at: 9780 Pyramid Court, Englewood, CO 80112

  • Regular in-person attendance is required Monday through Thursday
  • Friday is an optional remote workday

Physical Requirements:

  • Travel requirements: Available to travel up to 10% for normal duties by car and/or plane, with possibility of some additional in the event of a cyber attack
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds occasionally
  • Moderate bending, stooping, walking, standing, kneeling, squatting, and reaching.
  • Must be able to move between departments within the company facility

Min Salary

USD $75,000.00/Yr.

Max Salary

USD $105,000.00/Yr.
