Overview

The Regional HR Manager is responsible for overseeing HR operations across multiple locations located in Wyoming and Idaho. This role ensures that HR policies, procedures, and initiatives are aligned with company goals while addressing regional workforce needs. The Regional HR Manager works closely with local HR teams and business leaders to drive recruitment, employee relations, compliance, and talent development.

 

Key Responsibilities:

HR Strategy & Leadership:

  • Develop and implement HR strategies that support regional business objectives.
  • Collaborate with corporate HR and leadership teams to align regional HR practices with company-wide policies.
  • Act as a strategic HR partner to regional managers and leadership teams.

Recruitment & Talent Acquisition:

  • Oversee regional hiring processes to ensure workforce needs are met.
  • Work with hiring managers to develop talent pipelines and improve retention.
  • Implement employer branding strategies to attract top talent in the region.

Employee Relations & Performance Management:

  • Serve as the primary HR contact for resolving employee concerns and conflicts.
  • Support performance management processes, including goal-setting, evaluations, and feedback.
  • Conduct investigations into employee grievances and ensure fair resolution.

Compliance & Legal Requirements:

  • Ensure all regional HR practices comply with labor laws and company policies.
  • Manage HR audits and implement corrective actions as necessary.
  • Keep up to date with employment laws and regulations affecting the region.

Training & Development:

  • Oversee employee training programs to enhance skills and career growth.
  • Support leadership development initiatives within the region.
  • Promote a culture of continuous learning and professional development.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Work with corporate HR to ensure competitive pay and benefits packages.
  • Address regional pay equity concerns and market trends.
  • Support employees with benefits enrollment and inquiries.

HR Metrics & Reporting:

  • Track HR data such as turnover rates, engagement levels, and hiring success.
  • Provide regular reports to senior management on workforce trends.
  • Use HR analytics to improve decision-making and strategy execution.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • Experience: 5+ years in HR management, preferably in a multi-location or regional role.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to travel within the region as required.
  • HR certifications (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) are a plus.

 

Work Environment & Travel:

  • Typically office-based with frequent travel (25-50%) to regional locations
  • Requires flexibility to address HR matters across multiple time zones.
