The Claims Analyst is responsible for supporting the Claims Manager with reviewing claims across multiple property and casualty lines of business to ensure effective and optimal handling. Analyst will also have claim data integrity responsibilities for tracking and reporting purposes. The Analyst will also be responsible for maintaining current RMIS system and assist with basic troubleshooting issues and training.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

• Responsible for ensuring effective handling of property and casualty claims by various carriers

• Actively tracks timely closures and proactively communicates with adjusters

• Create monitoring systems for all casualty claims

• Create and update tracking system for current and ongoing construction defect claims

• Create and maintain internal litigation tracking document

• Attend mediations and conferences as needed for timely and appropriate settlements

• Work with attorneys for liability claims and provide settlement recommendations and approvals as necessary

• Maintain current statement of values for all companies within Kodiak

• Maintain and assist with basic troubleshooting for current RMIS system

• Onboard new acquisitions to RMIS

• Train and onboard new companies for claims handling

• Communicate daily with auto and property carriers and continue to liaison between field locations and all carriers

• reports.

• Performs other duties as required.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

• 2-4 years of either auto, property or construction defect claims handling experience

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Excellent interpersonal and technical support skills.

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s degree

• At least 2 years of related experience

• Proficient in MS Office applications, especially Word and specifically Excel

• Self-motivated and directed with the ability to learn quickly

• Able to multi-task and concurrently manage multiple tasks

• Excellent customer service skills

• Able to drive results
